Today’s post I want to share the opportunity I had to guest post on Super Healthy Kids! The post is all about veggies for kids.
Pretty much every family has at least one picky eater in it, am I right? And usually there is a constant war going on about getting those picky eaters (and kids in general) to eat their veggies on a regular basis.
In my family, the picky eater isn’t someone you would expect. It’s CAMERON! When we first got married he HATED vegetables and so we never had them. We found some that he liked finally and we experiment with different ways to prepare and “hide” our veggies.
My mom says that we always asked her to buy spinach for us when we went to the store. I asked her what her secret was and she said that we were just weird children LOL! Thanks for the tip Mom! 😉
In this guest post about veggies for kids, I came up with 21 ideas and recipes (plus a bonus 4 more!) that you can use to help you get your kids to eat more veggies. This will become your go to list when you need something new to try. No more scouring the internet, thank goodness!
The ideas I had were things like adding cheese, peanut butter, certain spices, brown sugar, smoothies, juicing (not juices from the store!). I also included recipes like salsa, marinara, shish kabobs, zucchini banana bread, and of course spaghetti. Plus a whole lot more!
